Thank you to everyone who supported this event! Your support is always appreciated!!March 29, 2009Despite of the snowy weather, it didn't stop the Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame from hosting their southern spring dance in Milwaukee. The dance was held at Carl's Catering featuring the Mike Schneider Band. The WPHF presented awards to Steve and Roz Silber, former owners of the popular Melody Bar, and polka promoters. Plus, an award was presented to the late Carl Hartmann, banjo/guitarist for Verne and Steve Meisner and many other popular bands. Thank you to everyone who attended and for supporting the Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame.January 2009This year marks a new term for the Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame (WPHF) officers and trustees.
